M3: To provide technical expertise along with professional ethics as per societal needs.

M4: To connect industry and Institute piers through bridge of solutions by interdisciplinary research and innovations.

  • To get an accreditation status.
  • To improve the students’ academic performance to 100%.
  • To enable 70%-80% of Under Graduates to find immediate employment by imparting necessary skills & Knowledge.
  • To create entrepreneurial skills in at least 15% -20% of students.
  • To generate awareness on immediate social problems and seek technical solutions to resolve the same by involving a team of academicians and industrialists of that area.
  • To start Ph.D. programs by getting recognition as center for research.
  • To have at least 50% of faculty with doctoral degree in diverse areas.
  • The students of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering are trained to become quality engineers, with adequate stress being laid on their personality development, paper presentation in seminars, group discussions etc., are some of the activities carried out by students.
  • To officer consultancy to local industries & give hands on experience in the relevant areas to all students.
  • To establish incubation centers on campus for mutual benefit of Institute and Industry.

Dr. R. M. Patil

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year of 2010-11 with intake of 60 students. The department is certified with Management System as per ISO 9001:2015.

It gives me immense pleasure to put forward the vision of Electrical & Electronics Department of Smt. Kamala & Sri. Venkappa M. Agadi College of Engineering & Technology. The department established in 2010 to impart quality technical competency for Electrical students. With qualified and experienced faculty, the department boast of rich academic delivery both theory and practical. The sophisticated labs of the department like Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, and High Voltage Engineering Labs Computer labs with software like MATLAB, CAED, PSPICE, Mi-Power help students to simulate and emulate with the real time problems in a more practical way.

Strengthening Electrical students’ association ASTELLA’S will definitely explore the students to the cutting edge research and happenings in the international domain.

I take this opportunity to welcome all aspiring undergraduate electrical and electronics engineering students to Electrical Department of Smt. Kamala & Sri. Venkappa M Agadi College of Engineering Technology, Lakshmeshwar.
