General Science

About the Department

The department was established along with the institution in 2003. Includes Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, and Engineering Mathematics, according to VTU. It has well-equipped engineering physics and Engineering Chemistry lab facilities, the department's academic activities includes teaching, organizing workshops and seminars, and hosting guest lecturers from other centers. The goal is to educate engineers with the basic, firm foundation needed to plan for acceptable applications of the materials, objects, and material science studied in scientific education, which in turn provides them with the tool for selecting the proper plan for the right application.

The physics lab is located in the C.V. Raman building. The T. A. Narashima Setty Block houses the chemistry and mathematics departments. The physics and chemistry labs are located across 200 and 205 square meters, respectively, and can involve 25 students at a time.
